Richter Belmont and move ideas.
I could only attach 3 lucky you lol, it was hard to chose what I wanted to show you since I am not an animator, but I am pretty proud with how these came out. This is just in hopes that you can do something with these ideas, before GMS 2 I was making my own Castlevania game to practice using the website castlevaniacrypt, but when the website had gone down, so did all the art and sprites with it. I got rid of that game taking on a new interest instead of game dev, but when I saw that you where still at it after all these years I grabbed a copy of GMS1 and Took a few days to put these "Moves" together for Richter. Hope they can be of some use... All of these "Moves" besides - Power Set and Stance - I have made GIFs for.
"High Kick" 1) High kick x1, x2, x3 2) Hard high kick 3) High, mid, low combo 4) High, low, mid combo.
"Mid Kick" 1) Mid kick x1, x2, x3 2) Hard mid kick 3) Mid, low, high combo (Attached) 4) Mid, high, low combo.
"Low Kick" 1) Low kick x1, x2, x3 2) Hard low kick 3) Low, mid, high combo 4) Low, high, mid combo.
"Knee" 1) Knee Rise (Attached) 2) Barrier 3) Knee Slide
"Roll" 1) Quick roll x1, x2 2) Hard roll (uses spinning whip) x1, x2 3) Cannon (an arched roll)
"Warp" 1) Warp (Attached)
"Uppercut" 1) Uppercut (regular one) 2) spin uppercut
"Roundhose Kick" 1) Roundhouse kick (regular one) x1, x2, x3 2) Reverse RHK (Leg above head to front) x1, x2, x3 3) Hard Roundhouse Kick (which gives rise up, causing Richter to get his foot about shoulder height). 4) Hard Reverse RHK (He lifts straight up first this time and the kicks forward down to regular stance).
Power set A, B, C (I only remember vaguely how I had these set up and didn't make the sprites for these this time around), This is kind of like in castlevania lament of innocent, where if you picked up and used a specific orb then your special weapons would be impact by them, but for Richter it would wear at the MP while in use.
Stance A, B, C (Same with the power sets), This is like the power sets that would use the "orb" toggle and MP usage, but for a change of main attacks. When Richter is in Idle, his Idle would represent the current stance, the way I had in mind was giving Richter a "Courage" meter that would be used for his martial arts. But that is a bit much..
