One of the things I have GREATLY wanted to expand upon is the lore for various monsters/enemies. As it stands now, compared to games like Dark Souls, Salt & Sanctuary, the original Devil May Cry, etc. the enemies in this series have always just had short and generic descriptions. Nothing really special that really makes you think of how god awful that creatures existence really is or what makes it unique in Castlevania's universe or why it does what it does. So one of the things I decided to do was expand on this some. I don't want stuff that sounds toooooo fanboyish. But maybe some descriptions and ideas that really help to flesh out the enemies a bit more. This particular thread will be for any of the skeletons along with various undead. Note that this thread does NOT include things like ghosts and spirits in the list. I also plan to implement something inspired by Devil May Cry 1. In that, as you see new enemy attacks and figure out their various quirks, more info about those things are revealed in the Bestiary. Along with possibly unlocking more lore itself as you kill greater numbers of that particular enemy in-game. Including things like HP, drops, weaknesses, etc.. Anyway, feel free to put all your ideas here related to the creatures listed below only (any others will be deleted). If I use anything significant that any of you come up with, I'll be happy to credit you for it in the engine as well. Depending on the success of this thread, I may choose to make more of these. Enemies included here (if I forgot any from the categories above, let me know): - Skeleton (including clear and golden bones)
- Bone Scimitar
- Slinger
- Skeleton Dualist (formerly Blade Skeleton)
- Bone Halberd
- Skeleton Priest (carries the Bone Ark)
- Bone Ark
- Yorick
- Jack O' Bones
- Nova Skeleton
- Skeleton Farmer
- Zombie
- Bloody Zombie
- Skelerang
- Bone Musket
- Bone Archer
- Ape Skeleton
- Dhuron
- Flail Guard
- Blade Master
- Wereskeleton
- Ghoul (formerly flying zombie)
- Skeleton Frisky (formerly Skeleton Dancer)
- Stone Skull (both versions)
- Spittle Bone
- Bone Pillar
- Blood Skeleton
- Winged Guard
- Paranthropus
Edit: forgot the Scarecrows.

Are there any limits on the number of characters per entry?

Are there any limits on the number of characters per entry? Nah, but use common sense too. Don't write a multi-page book for each enemy either.

Okay, I edited the list a bit, fixed the typos, although there still might be some (also grammar typos, I'm not native English speaker) and when I'm at it, I thought that it will be simpler to do entire list at once. I work daily on it and every day fill in few more enemies. About 30 done now. I also add some extra points, like notes to be revealed, although they can be easily excluded... Sometimes I use among them the original description. Just for a taste some of your desired skeletons... I'll post complete list once I finish it. Blood skeleton / noble skeleton In ancient times there were apparently tribes, who were covering bones of their dead leaders in gold. These proud dead refuse to share a grain from their rightful wealth so much that they can never rest in peace. Even less when disturbed by evil magic. - Animated by chaotic evil energy, having no real mind of their own
- Some of them were wealthy members of the church, their greed apparently had no limit
Zombie Victims of the last raid of the castle monsters into the country. Farmers and common folk, risen from death by evil of the castle. Now they mindlessly spread their disease and their stench too. - Despite the decay you can see faces they had when alive
- Some of them still have tools of daily use with them
Bone Scimitar Members of army of the church and possibly from the Sultan’s army too. Armed with a blade and shield these warriors fight just as when they were alive, loyal and lasting to their last… oh... - Symbols on their shields show that they are from many armies
- They seem to be of various skill… and age too
Bloody Zombie Soldiers of the eastern church took danger of the vampires seriously. When sent to the castle, these soliders drank holy water, which saved their blood from being drank, but couldn’t save their lives from the horrors of the castle. Some of them seem to have come from far east. - Eastern Church soldiers dispatched 300 years ago
- Holy water within them is finally no more effective, and their blood is still usable

These are well done Morell. However, please don't add extra things in that just clearly aren't true. For example: the zombies clearly have no tools. I can deal with the description of the face though as their faces aren't really descript in-game enough for this to stand out as odd. That adds a nice and creepy touch to them. Which I really like.
Also, do you have a description for the normal red blood skeleton? I wasn't originally going to use gold ones, but you have just given me a VERY good idea (I won't be using the green or white ones though).
Lastly: do not spam. Next time edit your original post. Instead of just adding 2 more (which I have deleted). I don't mind you using several posts to post up groups of enemies. But there was no need to add a new post just to say "whoops I didn't read the thread name" basically.
I like the setup you have here though for each enemy. Very well thought out!

I have all descriptions I expect to be used, therefore all in the main list and Wraith from Saturn as I couldn't figure out the second enemy used and don't wanna waste my energy on stuff that will not be used. About the zombies I imagined the raid coming to them, while they lived their daily life, completely not expecting that, so I thought that some things that are of no use in battle are still at their bodies, such things do not have to be drawn at such low res model, but can be present like some things on their belt - broken knife or bottle, rotten food, spoons, ladle, dried wing used for cleaning, etc. But as you wish, I've changed that. You'll see next week... Oh and those examples here, not sure which of them I updated and which remained the same in my final version.

I might as well take a stab at lore:
Skeleton Farmer: The reanimated remains of a farmer whose farm was on Dracula's castle grounds. Killed when Dracula's Castle was summoned.
Bloody Zombie: A freshly-killed corpse of an unknown soldier. carries a knife stained in its own blood.
