Hi. I'm willing to help restore the (amazing at the time) poorly aged sound effects to a higher sounding quality. I use this software called Stereo Tool which has a "Declipper" module that takes audio that was recorded too loudly and has become damaged and algorithmically restore the missing data. It's made for music, but it restores samples just as well.
You can try the ST Declipper demo on the heart pickup sound effect to see what I mean. Is there a sound effects repository that I can download, adjust, then upload somewhere in WAV/FLAC?
Here's a video of the developer explaining it and giving examples:
It's also only like $130 so you might be able to use your Patreon funds to buy it and manage this part yourselves.
EDIT: I've downloaded a pack of SOTN SFX resampled them to 44.1khz and ran them through Watchcat (Stereo Tool for batch processing of files) then uploaded them to my Dropbox. PM me if you want a link to download them.

Welcome to the forums! If you wish to provide some links comparing the clips (original to new) side by side, I'd be happy to check them out. I'd recommend something simple, like youtube. As no one will really want to take the time to download zip files and play sounds one after another to compare them.
It sounds like an interesting idea to be honest. But I'd have to see some SERIOUS improvements to consider this.
