I always thought Behemoth was Final Fantasy based, but I completely forgot about the one in Rondo of Blood. Plus, the dead one in the Colosseum of the original SOTN, as well. I'm excited he's coming to SOTNH! Wonder if he'll have a normal enemy version like the Creaking Skull in Aria of Sorrow...Only time will tell! Good job on the concept art, you guys. It's rad.

So at this point, I'm still looking for someone to refine the image FatihG came up with.... but I feel like he fleshed out most of the details I wanted. If anyone else wants to take a shot at it, feel free to PM me and I'll tell you what changes I am looking for. I will be going with the undead ripped in half one.
So next up is attacks: what kind of attacks do you guys think he should have? Outside of the usual chase scene, ramming attacks and his bile chunks spit.
Some of these attacks might change in utility depending on how agile you want the Behemoth to be. But here are some ideas.
-Mouth laser with explosion at its end, ala Castlevania 64's Behemoth.
-"Tail" whip where he whacks the ground with his trailing spine. Could be either a seismic thing to rain blocks from the roof of the arena, or as a "get off me" close range attack if you somehow manage to get behind him.
-From a tactics standpoint, perhaps you could get in some stronger hits if you get behind him before he manages to turn himself around... but since his organs are exposed back there, you would risk getting splashed by corrosive acids like CV64, or maggots/parasites with a chance to poison or curse you.
-A lunge forward, either for him to try to gore you with his horns or to bite you. Since his snout looks smaller, horns would probably work better.
That design is cool but there are some things that i disagree. Mainly because it is very similar a dragon and...i cannot imagine Behemoth being a dragon. I like the classic bull idea, of course, with some different elements. I'll make a speed rough
Well, I think that Behemoth "Bull" is cool because it is really something what nobody would like to be running in front of (and it is the case). But i always thought that as long Behemoth is an undead Monster, it would be like the SOTN Beelzebub, not just with part of skeleton visible, but some putrid scars and blood, and dragging its vital organs. Maybe flies above. Also, usually thought that it need to look very angry like a Rodeo animal (the furious eyes of Nosferatu Zodd from Berserk Anime really inspire me) I liked a lot the legs dragged idea. just don't know if it would to fit on the frame but it is not "with me". I Like the idea of lots of weapons and blades nailed on its body. It creates storytelling of the another guys trying to kill it (i even proposed a corpse hung on it. It would be cool and threatening while it moves) and also rest of some human skulls devoured between its ribs and stomach. I placed this nose-ring thing because it becomes more like a raged bull. I proposed also one full leg and the other just with amputated paw. It would give more sense to be dragging and more emphasis if it use the only paw to attack. Perhaps, it could not just use forehead and paw attacks but also try to eat the character, requiring to press fast the button to set free. Just opinions. Not rules at all
V2. A dark version maybe looks more aggressive. Some breath vapor and a bit of dust through the air
V3 - Maybe some Flames inside the burning Carcass and organs with smoke behind while it moves.

I like the attack ideas as well as the smoke, flies and dust particles. All realistically doable. I, also like the glow.... an EXCELLENT touch Robson. Along with the weapons in his flesh. I think that will complicate spriting some, so I'm better off having it sprited first without it, then having them added in. All great details!
Design wise, I did already pick my design above. And once I pick one, my decision is final. Now the next step is to refine it some so I can then pass it onto a spriter.
I REALLY like the way you do your designs though. Very well thought out and detailed. Even though it's not what I had in mind visually, this thing is a goddamn masterpiece!
